| Don't stop...believing...
Just when you
think the world has finally spun out of orbit and nothing seems to be
working...a miracle happens. It's funny because sometimes you don't
realize that thing that has been making you the happiest, keeping you
going everyday, has always been there, right under your nose. And if
you give it a chance and slowly test the waters, it's amazing how
comforting it can be. I'm excited to see just how deep these new waters
can reach...
On another note, I think I've discovered something that I can finally
believe in...eastern medicine. Yes, kind of out of left field, but
sometimes that's the best way to find what you're looking for...to look
at things that you would never consider. I saw acupuncture this weekend
and I really, truly believe that we have energy interconnected
throughout our body and that our "chi" needs to be taken care of...it's
fascinating and a xanga entry cannot do it justice...but I believe in
the healing powers of the natural world and I think I can really get
into the whole herbal thing....hey, it may be all psychological and
placebo-effecty, but to me, so is praying for healing....both are
natural and take believing in....I just chose to believe in something
from the Earth, instead of my mind....
My sweet rose
As the two of us change
I want you to know that nothing stays the same
But you and I, we will remain
My rose, remember my rose

| Running on a tread-mill...and getting nowhere...
I feel as
though this past week that I'm running as fast as I can and seem to be
getting nowhere. It's like treading water...I'm frantically trying to
stay afloat but I'm tiring easily and not getting to shore. I know that
I will get there eventually and everything will be just fine, but I
just can't seem to find the strength to push on....ARUGH!
Did I get anything accomplished this weekend....no. Blah....well, it's
more important to go home and spend time with my mom...I'll just do
everything tomorrow. Joy.
The phrase "so much to do...so little time" really applies right
now....if only I could invent one more day to the week...that would be
wonderful....

| Anything's Possible...
This is the first Valentine's Day that I have been single in
almost 6 years....wow. Well, last year I was single, but I went on a
date. But this is the first time I'm actually spending it by myself,
without having a significant other....and you know what? I LOVE IT!!!!
Although I've been touting all week about how much I hate Valentine's
Day, it honestly has nothing to do with me being single. I have no
animosity towards guys either...I'm no man hater. I've just never liked
Valentine's Day...ever since I was little. The colors make me want to
puke....honestly that is why I hate Valentine's Day....that and I think
that if you do have a significant other, then just because Hallmark
decides that you need to get them a card and flowers just to say how
much you love them, that is bullshit. Why is it that just because "you
have to" express your love today that makes it real? I almost think
it's faker then...tell me you love me on everyother day, not just
because Hallmark says that we have to do it on February 14th.
Anyways, I'm enjoying spending my night with myself....like Calvin's
dad from Calvin and Hobbes would say...it builds character. And I want
by character as strong as possible so that someday when I can (puke)
share the cards and flowers with someone that I love, that I don't have
to feel as if it's contrived and forced....I'll know it's real
then....because hopefully, I would have been shown that I'm loved the
other 364 days in the year....
